Spring in a Soho Street ran to 234 pp. Demy 8vo (c. 76K words) price 21s., with eighteen chapters and seventy scene breaks bound in black cloth boards with blue top edging, red gilt titling and St Giles’s clock tower on the spine. The watercolour jacket imitating Phyllis Ginger signed Prue Seward shows a slim red-headed elegant in a white dress and high heels leading a black poodle through Berwick Market.
